BOSNIAN BRILLIANCE ON DAY ONE AT THE EMF EUROCUP
Day one of the EMF EuroCup 2025 is underway in Sofia and we’ve had some emphatic victories on the opening day.
Caffe Bar Ćošak won two out of two as they racked up 11 goals in 7-2 & 4-2 wins respectively over Flickerz FC & Nyama Myasto, and they sit pretty at the top of Group C.
FC Elektrowozniak (7-0), FC Villa Mark (6-1), Arsenal Iasi (6-1) and Zhanaozen (5-0) all had big wins against their opponents, who all have a mountain to climb now to get out of their groups, but the biggest win of the day came via the way of HAFA, who after losing to FC Villa Mark 6-1, then hammered Anadolu Hayat Emeklilik 10-0.
There were also comfortable wins for FC Even (4-1), the experienced DXC Technology (3-0) and Slovakian side, Engerau Boys Imooptik (4-0) on the opening round of matches.
Engerau then won their second match of the day 2-1, to ensure they finished the day on top of Group B.
FC Sayana and FC Temp battled it out in a 1-1 draw, as did Brodios FC and Viitorul Galati.
Help Car and Apple FC also drew, but they shared a 6 goal thriller here in the Bulgarian capital at the beautiful Boyana complex.
Things are really starting to hot up and tomorrow we will know our last 16, which will get going on Friday morning.
